Aiyana
Aiyana is a passionate Behaviour Support Practitioner with an empathetic and humanistic approach to supporting individuals. Her Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons) provides her with insight using psychological theory to her practice, as well as a solid foundation of using evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence.
She has experience working with elderly and LGBTQIA+ individuals. These experiences have shaped her approaches to be inclusive, empathetic, and collaborative, which infers how she can develop and implement person-centred strategies. She has a special interest in social psychology, neurodivergence, ADHD and autism.
Her practice is person-centred and strengths-based, as she believes in tailoring the strategies to the individual’s abilities and needs. She is committed to expanding her knowledge base and pursues to become a registered psychologist.
