Tamika

Tamika is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who is passionate about providing personalised care to support everybody in living their best life!

Tamika is currently finishing her final placement of the Bachelor of Social Work at the University of South Australia, with previously completing the Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention. Tamika is driven to ensure that each individual is heard, respected, and all intervention ensures a person's quality of life is increasing. Tamika does this by using her bubbly and friendly personality to maintain strong relationships with clients and creating safe and inclusive environments that make clients feel at ease.

Tamika has extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, in roles such as; youth worker, education facilitator (delivering Aboriginal-specific programs, i.e., Circle of Security, Growing up Healthy, Respect Sista Girl), and Case Management specialising in supporting families with child protection concerns.

Tamika in both her professional and personal life lives by the motto 'Being different gives the world colour'.
