Andrew

Andrew is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with experience working with High-Risk individuals, specifically in regards to self-harm/self-injurious behaviour.

He prides himself on being polite, co-operative, and open to hearing everyone's side, firmly believing everyone has a story worth hearing. He finds enjoyment in exploring people's thoughts and their lives in the quiet moments, but is also up for fun chit chats! He stands by the benefits of CBT, and is happy to provide intermittent supportive counselling through strengths-based, people-centric practices, when valuable.

With a Bachelors in Psychological Science, a Bachelors in Criminology/Criminal Justice, and a Masters in Forensic Mental Health, Andrew chose to pursue a career where he could seek to improve the lives of anyone he can, firmly trying to live by his motto; "If you can do good things for other people, then you owe it to yourself to find a way to do those things". Andrew's experience includes working with individuals of high risk, suffering from Schizophrenia and related conditions, to Acquired Brain Injuries, general Cognitive Impairments, and more!
